She lives and works in Mestre – Venice. She studied under the guidance of masters Bruno Saetti, Millo Bortoluzzi, Corrado Amadi, and Cesare De Toni, and attended a figure drawing course at the “Contatto” Gallery. Her work is documented in catalogs, magazines, and anthologies (paintings and poetry). She has been featured in the Bolaffi Arte catalog, UNESCO publications, the cultural association “La Cella”, “La Rotonda”, Contemporary – Art Market Exhibition Padua, the “Il Baglio” Association in Palermo, the artistic group “Espressioni”, the contemporary art fair “God Art”, and Spazio Event Art. Her artworks have appeared in publications such as Il Gazzettino di Venezia, Il Gazzettino Illustrato, La Nuova Venezia, Gente Veneta, Arte Triveneta, Il Secolo d’Italia, and Trentino Corriere Alpi. Her works are part of several public and private collections. She is a member of the IOSOLISMO artistic movement and of the NABILAFLUXUS Cultural Association Art Gallery Museum. Her biography and artworks are included in the first international portal of art encyclopedias, Enciclopedia d’Arte Italiana, Milan. She took part in the 2014 edition of the Urbis et Artis magazine calendar, with two works and a critical review. She has successfully participated in numerous art competitions and exhibitions, including events held in: Gazzera, Arcella, Zelarino, Spinea, Scorzè, “Guttuso” in Mira, “Archiutti” in Campalto, “Dittico” in Pergine Valsugana, and Velletri. Valeria Gubbati, known in the art world as Vagu, stands out as a painter of rare expressive depth and inner richness.
