Flavio Palazzina, born in Turin in 1960 and currently living in San Mauro Torinese, describes himself as an “abstract composer of colors.” After a period devoted to poetry and writing, he discovered painting in 2020 during the pandemic, initially approaching the technique of pointillism and dot art. A lifelong lover of art and the beauty it conveys, in 2023 he transformed his artistic approach, moving toward a more instinctive and free form of painting, driven by the spontaneous flow of colors. He turns the creative process into an exploration of experimentation and chromatic juxtapositions, aiming for the aesthetic impact of his works to evoke emotions and feelings in the viewer. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions across Italy, including Paratissima in Turin, Liquid Sky 2 in Genoa, and Supernova in Naples. He has also participated in the Giorgio Gregorio Grasso Prize in Ravenna, the Odoardo Toti Prize at the Italian Senate in Rome, and the exhibition The State of Art in the Time of the 60th Venice Biennale in Venice.
