Luana Stebule – Stebuliauskiene

Since 2013 I have been living and creating in the United Kingdom. I was born in Lithuania, in 1962. I finished A. Martinaitis Art School and Academy of Art. I have had 22 solo and 75 group exhibitions in Europe: Spain, Portugal, Italy, France. Switzerland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Hungary, also, in England, Japan, Canada and the United States. The most memorable exhibitions: Florence Biennale 2023, FIABCN Art Fair at the Maritime Museum, Barcelona, 2023, exhibitions in Venice and Rome with ITSLIQUID GROUP, also, The Other Art Fair in Dallas, US, presented by the Saatchi Art in 2022. My artworks included in more when 25 art books and Anthologies. In 2023 by the World of Art Magazine I was selected into the book as one of “Top 10 Contemporary Artis 2023”, “Internationally Recognized Artists”, ART NOW, 2023, “60. Venice Biennial, in the Creative Laboratory I selected as one of contemporary artist with a unique expression. Also, in the Art Anthologies “Important World Artists” 2023, 2021, Art Anthologies Madrid edition 2023, 2022 and more. Luana Stebule is an internationally renowned artist whose work has achieved widespread recognition in the contemporary art scene. Selected as one of the “Top 10 Contemporary Artists 2023” by World of Art Magazine, she participated in the Florence Biennale 2023, consolidating her prominent position in the art world. Her art spans different media and styles, demonstrating a unique ability to blend spirituality and personal perspectives, transforming each work into a profound reflection on humanity and the invisible. Originally from Lithuania and now based in the United Kingdom, Stebule has developed an artistic language in which tradition meets innovation. Her ability to combine elements of Aboriginal art with surrealism, and her preference for geometry and minimalism, place her in direct dialogue with historical artists such as Wassily Kandinsky and Joan Miró. However, her painting is never a simple repetition, but a personal interpretation that provides new keys to reading. Her works are characterized by a well-structured composition, often multi-layered, that plays with the contrast between calm tones and saturated colors. Each painting, while giving the impression of movement, maintains a quiet and spirituality that invites reflection. The final result is a unique atmosphere, in which the artist manages to make the real perceive as if it were unreal, transporting the viewer to a world where imagination merges with reality.
