Being an artist does not simply mean practicing a craft; it is about embodying a passion that permeates every aspect of life. Mauro Molinari is an artist in the truest sense of the word. His art is not an activity separate from his life but a form of expression that completely reflects it. Those who have had the privilege of knowing him or visiting his studio in Velletri know well that his artistic production is an extension of himself: canvases, papers, objects, and boards that tell a complex and ever-expanding universe. This constant flow of creation is just a small part of a body of work that Molinari pursues with the same dedication, passion, and sincerity that characterize every moment of his life. Welcoming his art into spaces like the Galleria Gallerati in Rome is a true honor and great satisfaction. The gallery’s approach is not just to promote the works but to treat the exhibition activity with the same seriousness, passion, and commitment dedicated to artistic creation. The goal is to offer visitors an authentic view of a path that is entirely devoted to research and experimentation, without compromise. I do not position myself here as a biographer or critic, but as a sincere admirer of Mauro Molinari’s work, who has always poured everything of himself into the art he creates. The selection of works I have chosen to exhibit is not intended to be just a showcase but a true gateway into his artistic universe. A world where textures and tones intertwine in a dialogue between reality and imagination, between irony and concreteness, between the everyday and the fantastic. Every time one immerses themselves in his work, there is the same feeling of curiosity and wonder that one experiences in front of a unique and irreplaceable discovery.
